PvP ranks and Honor

Forever has 14 PvP ranks, Private to Grand Marshal for the Alliance and Scout to High Warlord for the Horde. Battlegrounds and the quests given in Gadgetzan pay Rank Points; enough of them and you go up a rank, and each rank unlocks rewards you can buy.

Rank Points: what it takes to go from the rank before to this one. Total: counted from zero. Earliest: the first week of a season in which the game lets you hold this rank.

Weekly cap

The highest rank you can hold is capped, and the cap goes up week by week until week 10 opens rank 14. The cap is on what you have earned over the whole season, so a late start costs nothing: whichever week you begin, you can climb straight to that week's cap.

Honor and sets

Killing players of the other faction earns Honor. You can hold up to 25,000, and it buys the PvP gear. Each class set comes in two tiers: the blue set is item level 60, needs level 55 and no rank; the epic set is item level 65 and needs level 60.

The elite upgrade of each slot

Each slot's upgrade unlocks at its rank. The seals need level 60, and their tooltip says senior veterans use them to upgrade the armor of that slot.

Rank Points and Honor both come from battlegrounds. These are the battlegrounds open in the Forever client, the levels they take and the players on each side.

Bonus week: the client's holiday table gives every battleground a Call to Arms week of its own. Which week goes to which battleground is the servers' call; the client has no schedule.

The Legacy points PvP gives

Of the Legacy points a character can earn, 12 come from PvP: climbing the ranks, reaching Exalted with a battleground faction, and finishing weeks of the Field of Honor journey.

The Darkspear Islands reputation rewards

Darkspear Islands is the battleground Forever added, open from level 30, and it raises your standing with the Theramore Expeditionary Force. The Theramo Expeditionary Force, loyal to Theramo City, is currently fighting the Darkspear Raiders for control of the so-called Darkspear Islands.
