View original postIn this thread, we'll collect everything you need to know about World of Warcraft: Forever.
View original postThe first balance changes of the beta, put online during the September 24 maintenance, with the Cooldown Manager, a Statistics tab, Discord voice chat and new gamepad options. Also in Blizzard’s notes: wands no longer gain spell power, Wizard Oils go back to their Classic values, the hunter pets’ Furious Howl gives 40% less attack power, and a respec costs 1 silver for now.
Also cuts Slam’s cooldown by 1.5 sec per rank, and Slam no longer delays your swing.
Twice the chance to allow Overpower (up to 20%), from main-hand attacks only.
More threat at every rank, and a little more from attack power.
Cooldown 18 sec instead of 15.
Blizzard swaps it with Focused Rage (rows 5 and 6). The game client does not have it yet, so the calculator still shows the old order.
Cooldown 10 sec instead of 12, and more damage at most ranks.
Holy Strike deals 20% more damage instead of 10%.
Its critical strike bonus for Holy Shock now covers Holy Strike too.
Also lowers the mana cost of your Seals by 20%.
Now grows with your spell power.
Raises the threat of your Holy attacks by 60% instead of 90%.
2% more damage per rank instead of 3%.
Stacks up to 3 times instead of 5, and damage over time no longer triggers it.
Removed from the Holy tree: Holy Strike’s cooldown drops to 10 sec for every Paladin.
Gone from the Retribution tree in the game client. Blizzard’s notes do not mention it.
Several fixes: it now reaches every target, and no longer pulls enemies above or below you.
Also raises your movement speed by 30% for 3 sec.
Can now land critical hits.
No longer works on beasts above your level.
Can now land critical hits.
Can now replace a shield already on a target without Weakened Soul.
More damage at both ranks.
Ranks 3 and 4 deal more damage.
Can now land critical hits.
No longer speeds up your spellcasting.
No longer stacks with itself, with Flametongue Weapon or with Windfury Totem.
No longer stacks with Grace of Air Totem or the other air totems, even from different Shamans.
Moves up to tier 3 and no longer needs Call of Thunder.
Moves down to tier 6 and now needs Call of Thunder.
Now needs Elemental Alacrity instead of Elemental Fury.
Lasts 20 sec instead of 15.
The bonus to your next Fire Blast lasts 30 sec instead of 20.
Line of sight is checked once, when the channel starts: a target that moves out of sight keeps taking the missiles.
No longer counts damage bonuses twice.
About 50% more damage at every rank.
Can now land critical hits, as can Tranquility and Wild Growth.
Now grows with your spell power.
The new name of Mangle, which loses its debuff. Not yet translated in the game.
The new name of Primal Fury, same effect. Not yet translated in the game.
Twilight Focus now protects it from spell pushback, as it should.
No longer breaks crowd control, and only triggers from spells and abilities that deal damage: Shadow Word: Pain on its cast but not its ticks, never Distract or Pick Pocket.
No longer breaks crowd control that breaks on damage. Its tooltip now says the mana grows with Spirit, which it already did.
Now asks for a player level: the herb’s Herbalism skill divided by 5, and level 60 for herbs above 300 skill.
Can now land critical hits.
Your next 3 abilities now cost 10% less for every class. It used to be 50% for Mages and Warlocks, 40% for Warriors, 20% for Rogues and 15% for Priests. The 10% damage bonus is unchanged.

Fixes for Macs (display and stability) and for gamepads: the character selection screen, and items that start a quest. Talents, spells and items did not change.
A small fix: the launcher, crash reporting and some graphics files. Talents, spells and items did not change.
Put online the day before the beta opened, with many changes from the BlizzCon demo: spellbooks go to level 60, Wrack (Warlock) and Flawless Execution (Rogue) are new talents, Vitality, Drain Hope, Restless Blades and Balance of Nature are gone, and several talents moved or changed prerequisites.
The version shown at BlizzCon, played at level 38. Until the beta client came out, this site's talents and spells were read off its footage.
