Druid Snake Form: Embrace of the Viper Set and Form Appearances

The snake form

Each piece drops in Wailing Caverns, from a different boss. They are all bound when picked up, so every druid farms their own. The chances are Classic’s: Forever may have changed them.

The Belt of the Fang is the piece that takes longest: Lady Anacondra dropped it one kill in ten in Classic. The Gloves of the Fang come from the dungeon’s trash, at 2% each.

The pieces are leather and rogues want them too, for the bonuses. In a group with a rogue, agree on who takes them before the first boss.

(2) Set: +10 Intellect.

(3) Set: +10 Attack Power.

(4) Set: Taking damage while at or below 25% health causes you to restore 100 health and mana over 5 sec. This effect can only trigger once every 5 min.

(5) Set: Grants your melee attacks a chance to inflict Dream Venom, stunning the target for 1 sec.

Not in the tooltip: with all five on, your Cat Form becomes a snake.

What the snake does

Cat Form only: Only your Cat Form turns into the snake. Bear Form stays a bear (Sodapoppin checked it at 8:32).
Dream Venom: The five-piece bonus also gives your melee attacks a chance to stun for 1 second. Sodapoppin saw it proc twice in a row (9:11), so it does not seem to have a cooldown. It can interrupt a cast.
Prowl: With Prowl the snake lies flat and slithers along the ground (5:51). It still meows and roars like a cat.
In the water: It swims like a snake too (41:48).
Where the snake comes from: The beta client has no trace of it: not in the set’s spells, not among the barber’s looks. The server gives it, so Blizzard can change it at any time without a patch.
