It appears to date back to time period just after of the War of the Three Hammers, and is very likely a notable piece of dwarven history. Ah yes, my ancestor Madoran was the first Bronzebeard king of Ironforge following the great civil war between the Wildhammer, Bronzebeard, and Dark Iron clans. This treaty was drafted to codify the cessation of hostilities and terms of peace after the Bronzebeards won the mountain.
As you can see, the Wildhammers and Bronzebeards signed it... and the Dark Irons did not.
